Tibetan Incense sticks are the highest quality sticks prepared by hand from 25 herbal ingredients following the Tibetan scriptural texts and the instructions of Dr. Pasang Yonten. Most of the rare herbs grow naturally in the Himalayas. They are carefully collected to protect the environment and shade dried to preserve their scent and quality. The incense sticks are entirely natural and free from any synthetic substances. Each pack contains 24 sticks which are known as 'dhoop' sticks as they are not rolled onto bamboo sticks. When burned, Tibetan incense produces a rich, earthy, and pure aroma which can help soothe and calm a restless mind. It is widely used to purify the environment and as an aid for meditation and relaxation. In Tibetan medicine, it is often used to alleviate depression, stress and anxiety. A daily incense or sang offering is an important part of Tibetan culture and most homes and monasteries will have a place reserved for offering incense.
